Doctor Youssef Bouhout obtained his doctorate in medicine dentistry in 2014 from Laval University. He then completed additional training in multidisciplinary dentistry while practicing in a private office during this period. Doctor Youssef Bouhout obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2014 from Laval University. He then completed additional training in multi-disciplinary dentistry while practicing in private office during this period.
Dr. Bouhout then completed his specialty in periodontics at Laval University and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons-Dentists of Canada in 2019. He also completed a master's degree in dental sciences on the treatment of periodontitis by laser. During his studies, he was the recipient of several awards for academic excellence, including one for professionalism and academic excellence in the 2nd cycle.
Dr. Bouhout is also responsible for clinical teaching in the multidisciplinary residency program at the Montreal General Hospital, affiliated with McGill University.
He is a Fellow-Elect of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in periodontics, a member of the Order of Dentists of Quebec, the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the Periodontists Association of Québec, the Federation of Dental Specialists of Quebec (FDSQ) and the American Academy of Periodontology.
